" Manbhavan "yuvak mahotsav (2023)
This blog is based on the thinking activity assigned by Dr. Dilip Barad sir to reflect our critical thinking ability of Festival 2023 organised by Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University.
The grand inter-college Youth Festival is being organised every year, which provides a medium for annual gathering with the exposure of various arts and hidden talents. Maharaja Krishna Kumar Singh ji Bhavnagar University organised a 3 day youth festival on wearing students from various colleges and departments have tried to present the skills.
*Name and Theme of youth festival :
The name was a youth festival " Manbhavan " and Theme was Nari Shakti Vandana.
* kalayatra:
"Manbhavan yuvak mahotsav " start from kalayatra on date on 2 nov 2023. In Kalayatra many colleges participated in kalayatra. And represent the department of English many things like posters of social media.
* 03 November 2023 ( First day of youth festival):
First day of youth festival was many activities,
- Mimicry
- Skit
- Bhajan
- On the spot painting
- Quize
- Folk dance
- One act play
- Collage
- Sugam Sangeet
There are many activities on first day of youth festival, but I was attending mimicry, folk dance, and Bhajan.
* Mimicry:
Mimicry is the resemblance of one organism to another, providing benefits such as protection from predators or enhanced hunting capabilities. It's a fascinating adaptation seen in various forms across the animal kingdom. In mimicry many students different vioce , bollywood actress voice, animal , performance on mimicry event.
* Folk dance:
Folk dance encompasses traditional dances of a community, reflecting its cultural heritage. Styles vary globally, each telling a unique story through movement and music. So in this event students try to best own side .
* Bhajan:
Bhajans are devotional songs or hymns, often expressing love and devotion to a deity in Hinduism. They are a fundamental part of bhakti (devotional) traditions, aiming to foster a deep connection with the divine. Bhajans can be sung in various languages and are performed in religious ceremonies, festivals, or individual worship.
* 4 November 2023( second day of youth festival)

As a participant on second day of youth festival I was attending ekanki, folk song , rangoli.
* Ekanki:
In ekanki section, I was attending mahamrityunjay and Cristy * brown.
* Mahamrityunjay:
The protagonist, Krishna's character, is portrayed so convincingly that it's hard not to believe him as Krishna. This play stands out as one of the best, capturing the audience's attention. It emphasizes the idea that whether Krishna or no one comes to save the world, humans have to find a way to survive.
The genre of this play could be categorized as a "dramatic adaptation" or "mythological drama," focusing on the retelling of an epic tale. The themes revolve around the conclusion of Krishna's story, exploring the character of Krishna and the narratives associated with him.
* Cristy brown:
This play serves as an autobiography of Christy Brown, portraying three stages of his life through characters representing his childhood, adulthood, and old age. Christy Brown, an Irish writer and painter, faced the challenge of cerebral palsy, which limited his ability to write or type to using only the toes of one foot. The production effectively utilized props to create a powerful impact."
* Folk song:
Folk songs are traditional tunes that often reflect the culture and history of a particular region. They're passed down orally through generations and can cover a wide range of themes, from love and nature to historical events.

Last day of youth festival I was attending Mime.
* Mime:
Mime is a form of silent performance art that communicates through gestures, body movements, and facial expressions without using speech.
Lastly, end section of youth festival anounce winner .
* My personal experience:
I am first time attending Youth Festival, as audience this is very new and amazing experience this is not only for entertainment but it was knowing ourselves various art represented by students.
